This 7-day tour offers an immersive experience into the cultural and agave-rich heartland of Jalisco. Begin your journey in Guadalajara, Mexico's second-largest city, where you'll explore its historic center, enjoy local cuisine, and experience the vibrant culture of Tlaquepaque. Then travel to the magical town of Tequila, where you'll visit distilleries, explore the National Tequila Museum, and venture into the natural wonders of the Amatitán caves.

Accommodation: Stay in carefully selected hotels including Hotel de Mendoza, Hotel Morales, Hotel Real Maestranza, or DoubleTree in Guadalajara and Hotel Matices, Hotel de Barricas or similar boutique hotels in Tequila.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Guadalajara

Arrive at Guadalajara International Airport and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, we'll visit El Parián in Tlaquepaque to enjoy a drink in a folkloric setting with mariachi music, immersing you in the local culture from the very first day.

Day 2 – Guadalajara Gastronomic & Cultural Tour

Pick-up: 9:00 AM | Return: 2:00 PM

Explore Guadalajara's historic center with a guided tour that includes food tastings of local specialties. Visit markets, plazas, and architectural landmarks while learning about the city's rich history and culture. The afternoon is free for you to explore on your own or relax.

Day 3 – Journey to Tequila

Scenic drive: 1 hour

Enjoy a scenic drive from Guadalajara to Tequila, passing through beautiful agave landscapes. Visit two premium distilleries to learn about the tequila-making process and enjoy tastings of different varieties. Check into your boutique hotel in Tequila and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Free Day in Tequila

Enjoy a free day to explore Tequila at your own pace. Visit the National Tequila Museum, browse local crafts, relax in the main plaza, or simply enjoy the charming atmosphere of this magical town. Optional activities can be arranged through your guide.

Day 5 – Nature & Caves of Amatitán

Embark on a full-day adventure to the Grutas de Amatitán, spectacular caves surrounded by beautiful agave landscapes. Explore the natural formations and learn about the region's geology and history. This adventure combines nature, culture, and the iconic blue agave fields that make this region a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6 – Return to Guadalajara

Return transfer

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Tequila before transferring back to Guadalajara. Check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon to do some last-minute souvenir shopping or explore more of the city at your own pace.

Day 7 – Departure
